Custom Heavyweight Muscle Tee Manufacturing
This reference combines 260 GSM, 100% cotton jersey with a relaxed sleeveless block, press-set armhole studs and DTG back artwork. HaoboMFG develops custom heavyweight muscle tees for fashion brands, coordinating fabric sourcing, patterns, decoration and cut-and-sew production in Foshan, China.
This is a development reference for your own collection. Send the fit, artwork and hardware details you want to achieve; the approved sample becomes the reference for your order.
Develop the armhole and neckline as part of the fit
For this style, chest width alone does not define the fit. Shoulder width, armhole depth and the neckline affect how much of the body is exposed and how the garment hangs. A wider body with a deep armhole produces a different result from simply removing the sleeves from a regular T-shirt pattern.
Include body length, chest width, shoulder width, armhole depth and neck opening in the garment measurement chart. Specify the armhole finish, neck rib width and the intended position of the studs. Where a reference photo leaves these details unclear, resolve them during pattern and sample review rather than leaving them for bulk sewing.
For other sleeve lengths and T-shirt blocks, see our T-shirt manufacturing service.
Specify heavyweight jersey beyond GSM
The reference uses 260 GSM cotton jersey. GSM describes fabric mass per square metre; it does not settle yarn quality, surface texture or wash behaviour. In your fabric brief, state the composition, knit structure, required handfeel, colour reference and any wash finish. If you require combed cotton, a particular yarn construction or a preshrunk material, include that requirement before sourcing.
Review the chosen jersey together with the neck rib and armhole finish. Agree how the sample will be measured before and after the specified wash, and record acceptable dimensional changes. These values belong in the approved specification; they should not be assumed from a photograph or a fabric-weight label.
Approve the artwork and studs together
Send the back artwork at its intended print size, with its position measured from a fixed point on the garment. The pictured layout combines a large rectangular graphic with a smaller mark above it, so spacing and alignment matter as much as the artwork file.
The reference sample uses direct-to-garment (DTG) printing. Review the print on the selected fabric before agreeing the production method, colour appearance and wash assessment. Use original artwork or designs you are authorised to produce.
The reference uses press-set studs. For your version, specify the stud diameter, finish, count and spacing, together with the attachment and backing requirements. The sample review should include both the visible arrangement and the reverse side of each attachment. Agree any attachment-strength, laundering or corrosion checks required for your market before placing the bulk order.
From the first sample to a defined production standard
Our clothing sample development service covers the move from a reference or tech pack to a garment you can review. For this tee, record fit changes, fabric selection, graphic dimensions and hardware placement in one revision file.
Before bulk cutting, confirm the final pattern, size grading, fabric and trim references, and decoration approval. Keep the production standard specific: neck opening and recovery, left-to-right stud alignment, print position, seam appearance and the agreed garment measurements. Request any additional tests as part of the quotation; no test result is implied by this reference image.
For branding, include the main label, care label, size identification and packaging brief. Our private-label manufacturing service explains how these details fit into the garment order.
Questions before quoting this style
Is this the same as a regular oversized T-shirt?
No. The reference is sleeveless, with a muscle-tee shape and exposed stud details. A regular sleeved oversized tee needs a different pattern and production brief.
Can I change the fabric weight or remove the studs?
Submit the revised specification for review. A different jersey, armhole finish or decoration package can change the sample work, material availability and quotation.
What is the minimum order?
Quotations start from 50 pieces per style, per colour, subject to review of the fabric, printing and hardware requirements. This is not a promise that every custom version can be produced at 50 pieces: custom-dyed fabrics or specially sourced studs may carry separate purchasing minimums. Send your size breakdown and decoration brief for confirmation.
Are shrinkage and stud-strength results specified for this reference?
No tested values are stated here. Agree the wash conditions, dimensional tolerances and any hardware attachment checks required for your order before approving the sample.
