Planning a first production run
What is the MOQ for small-batch clothing production?
MOQ depends on the garment, fabric, colors, printing method, and custom components. Stock fabrics and simpler decoration methods can make smaller starting quantities more practical.
Can you help if we only have a design concept?
Yes. Start with our clothing sample development service so construction, fit, fabric, and finishes can be confirmed before bulk production.
How is quality controlled during production?
We check materials before use, follow approved sample details during sewing, review measurements and workmanship, and complete final inspection before packing.

Plan a small order by style, color and size
A collection total is not the same as a production quantity for one style. One style in two colors requires at least 50 pieces in each color: 100 pieces in total. Two styles in two colors require at least 200 pieces in total. Confirm your size allocation for every color rather than sending only a combined quantity.
Material availability and custom decoration still need a written quotation. Stock fabrics, custom-dyed fabrics, screen-print setup, labels and packaging can have different purchasing requirements. A smaller repeat order may also have a different unit price from your first order.
How the 50-piece minimum works
HaoboMFG’s current bulk minimum is 50 pieces per style and per color. Send the size breakdown for each color with your brief so we can confirm the cutting and packing plan. Sampling is quoted separately; you do not need to order 50 development samples.

What is your low MOQ for custom clothing?
Our standard starting MOQ is 50 pieces per style and color, subject to the garment style, fabric, color plan, and customization requirements.
Can I start with one style or a small collection?
Yes. We can review one style or a small collection and confirm how fabric, colors, sizes, labels, and packaging affect the production plan.
Do you make a sample before a small bulk order?
Yes. We recommend approving a production-ready sample before bulk manufacturing so fit, materials, construction, and decoration are clear.
How long does a small-batch order take?
Bulk production is normally about one month after sample approval and material confirmation. The final schedule is confirmed for each style.
Can you add private labels and branded packaging?
Yes. We can coordinate main labels, care labels, hangtags, trims, poly bags, cartons, and other approved packaging details.
