What is OEM clothing manufacturing?
OEM means the brand supplies the product direction in a defined form, often through a tech pack, reference sample, measurements, artwork and material requirements. The manufacturer then helps source approved materials, develop or confirm patterns, make samples and produce the approved garment. OEM is a good fit when your team owns the design and wants a production partner to follow clear specifications.
What is ODM clothing manufacturing?
ODM includes more product-development support. A brand may start with a reference image, mood board or product idea rather than a complete tech pack. The manufacturer helps assess construction, suggest workable fabrics and trims, develop patterns and prepare a sample for review. ODM can shorten the gap between an early concept and a production-ready style.
